Dhaka Community Medical College
Dhaka Community Medical College offers medical education approved by the Ministry of Health as per the government of Bangladesh. The college is affiliated by Dhaka University in Bangladesh and recognized by the BMDC. The main aim & objective of the college is to produce professional & skilled doctors for country requirements. The degree is followed by one year of medical training or internship. In addition, the college dental department welcomed the BDS course in the year of 2013- 2014 for the first time and is going on well now. It offers 5 years’ degrees in MBBS and dental, medical science. It is one of the largest colleges in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It also provides free clinical facilities to the student inside the campus.
The departments in the college are dividing into different phases, such as Phase 1: Pre-clinical department, Phase 2: Para clinical department, Phase 3: Para-clinical departments, and Phase 4: departments of medicine & allied subjects.

The college consists of well-arranged accommodation for students, well-furnished and managed big libraries, Cafeteria, Free Internet Zone, Gym, gaming zone, TV in a mess, common study room, etc. The college provides a politics-free academic atmosphere for a student so that they can focus on their study.
Admission Procedure
- An eligibility criterion for selection includes a minimum of 3.5 and above CGPA at SSC and HSC or equivalent O & A levels from a science background (Biology as Compulsory subject). Study gaps for more than one year are not eligible to apply for medical study.
- Admission in Dhaka Community Medical College is made based on under the guidelines of Directorate-General Health Services (DGHS)
- Admissions are offered based on the merit list generated by DGHS after conducting the NET form of a medical study.
- Meritorious quota students from poor backgrounds and relatives of freedom fighters are selected based on DGHS guidelines (up to a fixed number)
