Medical study in Bangladesh is underdeveloped to fulfill the country’s medical requirement. It has been seen that a large number of candidates willing to build their interest in the medical field but unfortunately deprived of the chance of getting selection due to inadequate seats. In this, Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College is offering scope to those students to study in medical college and contribute the knowledge to the health care sector of Bangladesh.
The main goal of Dr.Sirajul Islam Medical College is to create vibrant & diverse graduates in medical science to provide high profile doctors to the country. The college is approved and affiliated by Dhaka University and recognized by the Ministry of Health as well as BMDC (Bangladesh medical & dental Council).

College Features
Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College is a beautifully developed campus with a fully equipped academic building that includes furnished clinical departments such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Antimony, forensic medicines, and medical community. The academic building also consists of a lecture hall, museum, and classroom laboratories, well furnished & managed library system. College also offers hostel & mess facilities for students.

Admission Procedure

• Applicant must have a minimum 8.00 GPA combined in SSC & HSC with bio as compulsory subjects with a 3.00 GPA. For foreign candidates, the minimum requirement is 70% marks or GPA 8.00 in SSC & HSC or O & A level examinations
• A study break for more than one year is not applicable for the admission.
• Candidate must clear the admission test conducted by DGHS under the guidance of the ministry of health.
• Selection is totally based on the merit score of an entrance exam, interview, and marks (SSC & HSC) as per government directives.
• College has reserved seats for quota students such as management, NRI, sports, etc.
• As per the rules of medical board rules, a medical check-up is conducted before admission to ensure that the candidate is mentally fit for the medical study.
